ABSTRACT The use of water with different salinity values in the production vegetable seedlings is an issue global concern; therefore, selecting tomato cultivars tolerance to saline essential improve fruit quality and production. This study aimed estimate maximum electrical conductivity irrigation that does not harm find effects this phase. In first experiment, treatments were arranged a 3 × 8 factorial scheme (three eight water). second experiment was 10 (10 three 50% reduction root dry matter accumulation occurred (ECw) 2.31 dS m-1. more than Dickson index observed ECw 6.38 Irrigation 3.0 m-1 impairs complete emergence growth all cultivars. Coração de Boi, Dominador, Maestrina, Sheena, Shanty most tolerant ECw. higher seedlings.
